This design project is our vision of design in the style of constructivism.
The
This style replaced modernism in the early twentieth century. The main features of the style are simplicity, emphasis on functionality, the actual lack of decor. From ourselves we can add that for us also the important factor is "honesty of an interior" and indications of the most important part of the house, its design.
And now a little about the apartment. The apartment is located in Kiev, its area is 88m2, designed for one person. The design project was completed in 2020. We will tell in more detail about the decisions which we used in this project directly at visualizations. Scroll down :)
The
The
Hallway
This is the entrance part of our project. In addition, the hallway divides the apartment into 2 parts. To the right is the guest and the main part of the apartment.
The
On the left is the owner's bedroom. It is hidden from the eyes of guests, the entrance is disguised as one of the elements of the closet. This helps to zone the apartment, and "direct" guests in the right direction.
In front is a large mirror on the entire wall, which visually greatly enlarges the room and adds more space
Guest kitchen
From the hall we get to the guest kitchen. Consisting of 4 zones: a guest area, a dining area, a kitchen area, and a bar area.

The guest area consists of an accent sofa and armchairs separated by a table. In the guest area is a projector that replaces the TV. The wall of the guest area is divided by material. Part of the wall is not plastered, but made of painted bricks.

The dining area is located between the kitchen and the guest area, visually separating them. The table is designed for a maximum of 6 people.

Our kitchen is equipped with a closing mechanism, ie during the reception, or when we do not use the kitchen, it can simply be closed and it looks like a normal wall.
The kitchen itself is small, not intended for active use, at the same time made in the style of the room, with a fascinating symmetry of lines.

We couldn't help but use the small space near the beautiful window, we made a small bar here, perfect for a quick breakfast or a coffee break
The bar is made of a piece of sheet metal, simply delicately finished and painted black, and rests on several steel rods anchored in the wall.
Guest bathroom - the main focus of this bathroom is a wonderful sink from Cielo. It is also not difficult to notice that the whole bathroom is made of large-format porcelain. And one tile is in the shower and on the side floor, and this was not so easy to achieve :)
The bedroom in this project is designed as a place where the owner will spend the most time.

The wall behind the bed is also divided by the use of different materials.

A "U-shaped" profile is used between different materials for a more aesthetic transition between materials

Instead of a bed only a mattress is used, and that height was optimum, it is put on increase.

The
Thanks to the combination of bedroom and office in one room, the office turned out large and spacious. With a great minimalist workplace.
Desktop - long and large combines the entire working space of the office.

The wardrobe in this project consists of a hanger and several shelves built into the wall.

On a hanger according to the plan there should be clothes which are most used, and all other clothes will be in a big case in a hall.

The drawers are directly in the wall, and to achieve this effect we had to break our heads over how to achieve this technically.
